The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of two key terrorist figures on separate fronts. In a coordinated series of airstrikes, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) targeted and successfully neutralized prominent operatives from Hezbollah in Lebanon and Islamic Jihad in Gaza, both of whom were directly involved in orchestrating attacks against Israel.
In southern Lebanon, the IAF eliminated Abu Ali Rida, a Hezbollah commander responsible for the Baraachit area. Abu Ali Rida played a central role in Hezbollah’s military operations, overseeing rocket and anti-tank missile attacks on IDF troops. His activities also included the coordination of terrorist operations by Hezbollah forces in the region. His removal marks a significant blow to Hezbollah’s tactical capabilities in southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, in Gaza, the IAF struck and eliminated Ahmed Al-Dalu, a member of Islamic Jihad’s Military Intelligence Unit. Al-Dalu was directly involved in the October 7 massacre in Kfar Aza, where he participated in an assault on Israeli civilians. Throughout the ongoing conflict, he played a critical role in planning and executing terrorist attacks against the State of Israel. An additional terrorist was killed alongside him during the strike, further degrading Islamic Jihad’s operational structure.
These eliminations underscore Israel’s continued focus on targeting high-ranking militants responsible for attacks on its military forces and civilian population. The IDF has emphasized that it will continue its operations against terrorist leaders across multiple fronts as part of its broader strategy to defend its borders and citizens from ongoing threats.
