Acting Secret Service Director Ronald White says Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, the suspect in the apparent assassination attempt on former President Trump at his West Palm Beach golf course, did not have line of sight on the former president and did not fire his weapon after a Secret Service agent spotted his rifle barrel poking through the fence line and opened fire on him. Rowe also says that the increased asset that President Biden had ordered after the campaign rally shooting in Butler, PA, were in place in Florida. He commends the men and women of the Secret Service and thanks local law enforcement for their efforts in helping secure the safety of Mr. Trump.
